AI sales roleplay

Practice sales calls with an AI buyer built from your business.

Rehearse discovery questions, objections, and next steps in a typed conversation. The buyer’s situation comes from your business profile, so you practice the kind of calls you actually take.

How it works

How a rehearsal works

  1. Pick a saved profile

Use your own business profile, or load the bundled fictional example, Acme Analytics, to try it in a few minutes.

  2. Meet your buyer

The app creates the buyer’s opening line and a backstory: role, current approach, motivation, constraints, decision process, and what would make a next step worthwhile.

  3. Type your replies

The buyer responds to what you actually said and reveals details when they become relevant. The coach suggests a next move as you go, as it would on a live call.

  4. Stop and review

The session is saved on your Mac. Generate a review that finds the most useful observation in the transcript and, where it helps, suggests different wording.

Why it’s useful practice

A buyer that behaves like a buyer

A consistent backstory

The buyer’s backstory stays the same for the whole session, so details don’t drift as the conversation goes on.

You have to ask

Constraints, decision steps, and motivations are revealed through conversation, not handed to you up front.

No free wins

If you promise something your profile doesn’t support, the buyer doesn’t treat it as a verified capability.

A “no” is possible

The buyer can agree, defer, or decide your offer isn’t a fit, which makes it useful practice for qualifying out.

Steer the scenario

Edit or remove the buyer’s latest reply to steer toward the moment you want to practice.

Stays on your Mac

Rehearsal is typed and never uses your microphone. Sessions and reviews are stored on your Mac.

Practice ideas

Three rehearsals worth running first

The fictional example profile bundled with the app suggests these exercises. They work for most B2B products once you swap in your own business.

The cautious buyer

The buyer relies on an ERP and spreadsheets. They’re seeing excess stock and urgent replenishment costs, but they need a good reason to change. Practice: explore what changed and which result matters most before you propose a next step.

The failed project

The buyer tried similar software before, and mismatched product codes and incomplete supplier data led to months of cleanup. Practice: address the workload concern without promising an easy integration.

The early price question

The buyer asks what a pilot costs before its scope is clear. Practice: explain that pricing needs confirmation, then work toward the information a useful pricing discussion needs, without inventing a number.

After each session, open Reviews. Check whether you answered the buyer’s question, avoided repeating discovery, and kept your wording natural. Then note one line you want to try differently next time.

FAQ

AI sales roleplay questions

Is the roleplay spoken or typed?

Typed. It doesn’t use your microphone.

Does every rehearsal use a different buyer?

Yes. Each rehearsal creates a new buyer from your business profile, and that buyer stays consistent for the whole session.

How is this different from roleplaying in ChatGPT?

No prompt writing. The buyer has a backstory you uncover by asking, your coaching playbook runs alongside, and every session is saved with a review.

What does a rehearsal cost?

Nothing extra from us. The app is a one-time purchase, and OpenAI bills the API usage to your key.
