In Profiles, choose Use example profile, review the fictional Example — Acme Analytics profile, and save it. Then test your OpenAI connection in Provider and open Rehearsal. Rehearsal is typed, so it is the quickest first test and does not use your microphone or meeting audio.

In Provider, test and save your OpenAI key and coaching model. Create and save a business profile. Then open Audio check, select your microphone and meeting app, and confirm that both meters respond before starting the call.

Open the meeting app and play audio before refreshing the source list. Select the meeting app itself, then verify it in Audio check. Selecting a browser can capture other audible tabs in that browser, so close or mute unrelated tabs.

First confirm that API billing is active for the OpenAI project linked to your key; a ChatGPT subscription does not include API usage. The project must be able to use both your selected coaching model and gpt-live-transcribe. In OpenAI Platform, select the project, then open Limits → Model usage, enable both models if available, and run Test & save key again.

Only the audio or context needed for the feature you start is sent directly to OpenAI using your key. Sales Call Coach has no recurring subscription; OpenAI bills API usage separately under your OpenAI account.

Delete calls and rehearsals from Reviews, delete profiles from Profiles, and choose Remove saved key in Provider. The developer keeps no remote copy of that local content.
